Tension Rod

The Nissan 240sx tension rods play a major role in the handling and steering of the front suspension. For one, tension rods give stability to the lower control arm. However, the most important role of the tension rod (adjustable) is the ability to adjust Caster. Caster is defined as the angular displacement from the vertical axis of the suspension of a steered wheel in a car. More caster means "Snappy" or quick return of the steering wheel back to the original straight position.
